Due to the growing number of Spaniards coming to Germany searching for professional opportunities, the Employment Council of the Spanish Embassy in Germany and the local office in Cologne of the Agentur für Arbeit (the German employment agency) invited everyone interested to participate in an informative event in Cologne where key topics for a successful integration in the country were discussed.

Prepared in collaboration with the BAMF (Bundesagentur für Migration und Flüchtlinge), the organization IQ Netzwerk NRW and the ZAV, in this informative session a broad outline of how to create an effective CV, the support from the government to learn German, the professional perspectives and some necessary administrative paperwork was addressed. Besides, the attendants had the opportunity to get in touch with local authorities in the field that assisted them in a personal manner.
